Meet the Worcester Wanderers FC Coaching Staff: Head Coach Greg Margolis and Assistant Coaches Erinn Ring and Tom Faltus

In the inaugural season of Worcester Wanderers FC, Co-Owner will be led by Greg Margolis, who will be assisted by coaches Erinn Ring and Tom Faltus. This group helped Wellesley College Soccer earn a NEWMAC playoff birth for the first time in eight years this past fall.
Greg Margolis: Head Coach with a Vision for Growth
Greg Margolis brings a wealth of experience and passion to Worcester Wanderers FC. His coaching career spans over 15 years, during which he has worked with primarily at the college level, currently as Head Coach at Wellesley College, but has also coached at the ECNL RL level with WNY Flash and at the semi-professional level as well. No stranger to the UWS, Margolis led FC Berlin in 2024 and then made the move to guide FC Buffalo in their first season in the USL-W last summer. Greg’s approach focuses on building a strong foundation of technical skills combined with tactical versatility and an ball focused approach to the game.
Erinn Ring: Assistant Coach Focused on Player Development
Erinn Ring joins Worcester Wanderers FC coming off the heels of being name Head Women's Soccer Coach at Emmanuel College, Ring's first collegiate Head Coacing position. The Colby-Sawyer alum has spent the past few seasons as an assistant at Wellesley College, helping shape the roster through incredible recruiting and leading technical sessions at trainings.
Ring brings a wealth of knowledge and will help foster a positive culture within the team environment, critically important in the founding year of the organization.
Tom Faltus: Assistant Coach Bringing Goalkeeper Development
Tom Faltus complements the coaching team with his deep understanding of the goalkeeper position, while also adding tactical knowledge to the group. Faltus will lead all keeper sessions and bring incredible energy to the unit. This past season Wellesley College, Faltus helped Riley McNair earn NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week five times and a 2nd team All-NEWMAC honor.
Faltus also coaches multiple teams with NEFC in the area and has built a strong connection with the region. Tom approaches the game and his sessions with great passion and a ton of energy, making the training environment very rewarding for his players.
Looking Ahead: The Future of Worcester Wanderers FC
The group will work collaboratively to create high-level training environments for the players. Wanderers FC will bring intensity to the game and play a brand of soccer that is competitive and entertaining!
Their combined expertise and dedication will create a strong foundation for the club’s ambitions.
